Lethbridge Cremation Process
The Lethbridge cremation process starts with you contacting us and speaking with a licensed funeral director about the type of cremation service you deem suitable. There are a few things you will require to bring that you might forget about at the time which is perfectly normal especially if your require our services immediately. These items are: personal information (Social Insurance Number, Alberta Health Care number, Birth Certificate), vital statistics (name of parents, mother’s maiden name, place of birth) and time and date of death. We will then take that information to prepare a death certificate. Following that, we will transfer your loved one to our cremation facility where the cremation will take place. We are able to transfer your loved one from Lethbridge or anywhere in Southern Alberta, to our facility. Also we will provide services to you for after the cremation process. Some of the aftercare services we provide are:
- Obtaining the Certificate of Cremation
- Registration of death with Alberta Vital Statistics
- Completion and submission of the Canadian Pension Plan Death Benefit
- Survivor’s Benefit applications if needed
